DIEDRICH D. FRIESEN On Tuesday, July 6, 2004, with his family at his side, Diedrich Friesen passed away peacefully at Eastview Place at the age of 85. Died was born in Kleinstadt, MB on May 26, 1919 to Peter and Justina Friesen. Died grew up on a farm and had a great love and respect for the land. He spent all his working life farming, first with his father and then with his family. Died married Sue Falk on October 20, 1940 and together they raised five children. His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Sue and their children, Judy (Raul) Seesahai, Gloria (Jim) Penner, Ray Friesen, Bruce (Marlene) Friesen, Laureen (Ron) Crampton; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and his sister, Justina (Jacob) Wiebe. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Irma Friesen and by his brother, Peter; his sisters, Helen Froese and Anna Penner. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church of Altona. Donations in his memory may be made to Eastview Place, P.O. Box 660, Altona, MB R0G 0B0.
